I just got this very neat present from the @Floorplanner team. It’s a device that measures your heart rate and is specifically designed for cycling. It also keeps track of speed, cadence, calorie consumption and such.
I’m typing this message with a heart rate of about 80. Playing Street Fighter raised it to 90 :)
nginx [engine x] is a HTTP and reverse proxy server, as well as a mail proxy server written by Igor Sysoev.
Nginx is noted to be a good server for sites that need fast, efficient reverse proxies or fast, efficient serving of static content. It is acclaimed for having low memory usage and is recommended for sites running on a VPS.
We use nginx in combination with Phusion Passenger for our Ruby on Rails applications and we are very happy with that setup.
Congratulations to the nginx team with the 1.0.0 release!

This is quite a radical change which forces us to think about our future 3D web developments. Or will the new Flash Player, be the 3D platform of the future? Difficult choice.
The days we can see the Erasmus Bridge from our office are numbered. On the photo you can see the top of the bridge between the two cranes on the right hand side. The building that will block our view is called the Calypso. Bastards!
